At the same time, they have your back when it comes down to negotiating terms and making sure that your interests are fully represented. There were a few uncommon road blocks on our way, and Todd and Preston put in a serious amount of work to make sure that no negative outcome would ever come our way. Now that everything is finalized and we are in our new home, we look back fondly on our experience and wholeheartedly recommend this team to anyone in -- or about to enter -- the market.

"We didn’t get to work with Todd very long because he sold our condo in 2 days. Todd did a great job of explaining how our place would get marketed and made some great recommendations staging our house. Todd is very responsive, knowledgeable and truly cared about us, not just getting a sale. The process from start to finish couldn’t have been better. Todd also helped us find a great rental and was very patient with us.Thank you Todd! We can’t wait to have you help us buy our next house."

"t's been 2 months since we signed our lease and I still call on Todd for recommendations. Todd went absolutely above and beyond what we were expecting when looking for an apartment to rent. My wife, daughter, and I moved up to Chicago from Virginia and Todd took care of us through the whole transition. Having a child, we were concerned about moving into a good neighborhood. Todd, having children of his own, was extremely knowledgable on which neighborhoods would be a good fit and which would not. He would tell us straight up if he would live there or not.Besides just being knowledgable of the city and the surrounding areas, Todd was an absolute blast to go house hunting with. He is extremely engaging, very funny, and just a pleasure to be around. We strongly recommend Todd to anyone looking to move. Whether its just renting an apartment or buying a house, Todd will take care of you 100%."

"Highly recommend The Schiller Shissler Group! They have deep expertise in the market and really understand and leverage the online side of marketing your home. We chose them based on their sales pitch and proven success identifying and targeting the potential buyers for a given listing. They were spot on with us… their efforts resulted in high traffic and multiple offers at the very first open house! We were also extremely impressed with Todd’s service in every other area (he was our primary agent). He has a contact for everything- from staging to interior design to maximizing your floorplan, of course attorneys and brokers and inspectors, but even buying discounted moving boxes! Todd and Joe are both very personable, outgoing and natural conversationalists – all qualities you want in someone chatting up your home during open houses/showings. They asked tons of great questions about the unique features of our home and neighborhood, and used this information to make some great marketing materials. The photographer was amazing, and the online virtual tour of the house was another advantage of their firm! There is huge disparity in the quality of pictures you find on real estate listings, and many don’t even have the virtual tour feature. We were thrilled with how well our place “showed” online.Would absolutely use Todd Shissler again! Our only regret was that our place sold so quickly we didn’t have more time to work with him!"
